Inside the Chronicle

Welcome to the Camelot Chronicle

he steam-press gears are greased, the inkwells are topped with genuine dwarven ink, and the first major run of the Camelot Chronicle is officially rolling! Before we step into the next wave of World of Warcraft Classic Plus news and patch notes, I wanted to take our readers on a full walkthrough of everything we've built into our independent newsroom so far, and what we have planned for the World of Warcraft Classic Plus release.

Before anything else, a word on scope: the Chronicle covers World of Warcraft Classic Plus and nothing else. No retail, no other expansions, no filler. News, lore, quests, class discussion, guides and wikis — all of it pointed at one game. We would rather do a single thing properly than everything poorly.

First and foremost: our oath remains unchanged. We are 100% ad-free—no popups, no large ads, and no autoplaying videos. Here is what you can explore across our Chronicle. We expect to be here at the start, the middle, even the end of the World of Warcraft Classic Plus journey, chronicling every detail: class changes, patch notes, and 100 years of World of Warcraft Classic Plus! Whenever new balance decrees or system updates arrive from the developers, you can find the complete list of changes cataloged on our dedicated Patch Notes page.

1. The Front Page: Your central hub. The lead story runs under a Breaking News banner, with the dispatches that follow in chronological order. The left column carries our Editorial Promise, the Front-Page Classified spotlight, and quick passage to the Realm Census, Feature Roadmap (upcoming features), and Release Notes — with the full Chronicle Archives a link away at the foot.

2. Realm Census & Demographics: Our live record of who actually plays this game. Inspect faction balances, realm populations, level distribution, and server health metrics across World of Warcraft Classic Plus realms. We also plan to track class, spec, and race statistics as the population settles.

3. Realm & Creator Classifieds: Our native community directory. Built for World of Warcraft Classic Plus content creators, podcast hosts, dueling tournament organizers, and top guild rosters to publish shareable bulletins while supporting our ad-free newsroom. Every bulletin you post comes with its own permanent URL — a fixed address you can carry into guild chat, Discord, or anywhere else across the realm. Treat it as your banner: gather your Discord invite, guild page, stream schedule, and whatever else you want found into one link worth handing out.

4. Physical Print Edition: The tactile experience. Learn how we format, bundle, and deliver physical newsprint runs of the Camelot Chronicle straight to subscribers' mailboxes for those who prefer reading their realm news on real parchment over breakfast.

5. Goblin Radio & Audio Frequencies: Tune into live in-game ambient radio streams, realm news audio dispatches, tavern lo-fi frequencies, and community podcasts while you grind levels or craft supplies across Azeroth.

6. The Back Page: The tavern parlor! Unwind with interactive daily crossword puzzles, tavern mini-games, and leisure entertainment after a long dungeon run. Some readers claim there is something else back there too — hidden in plain sight, waiting on an adventurer stubborn enough to find it. We neither confirm nor deny.

7. Patch Notes: Complete tracking of all World of Warcraft Classic Plus balance adjustments, server hotfixes, developer notes, and Scriptorium decrees.

8. The Scribe Registry & Archives: Meet our guild of reporters and scholars, or browse past issues preserved in our historic archive.

We are also hard at work on upcoming features outlined in our Feature Roadmap and Release Notes, including physical print subscriber archives, expanded Goblin Radio frequency channels, text-to-speech article audio playback, talent calculator suites, expanded realm population metrics, and wiki-style databases covering class quests, quest guides, and more.

Grab a mug of dwarf ale, explore the scrolls, tune your radio dial, and welcome to the future of World of Warcraft Classic Plus news reporting!
